Travis Elborough is the author of three acclaimed books, The Bus We Loved, a history of the Routemaster bus; The Long Player Goodbye, lamenting  the passing of vinyl; and Wish You Were Here, a history of the British beside the seaside. His latest book is London Bridge in America of which Ian Sansom, the The Guardian, said “it would probably be justifiable now to proclaim Elborough one of Britain’s finest pop cultural historians.”

Caleb Klaces was born in Birmingham in 1983. He is the author of the chapbook All Safe All Well (Flarestack Poets, 2011), the winner of a 2012 Eric Gregory Award, and a Granta New Poet. His debut full collection, Bottled Air, won the Melita Hume Poetry Prize in 2012, and is out now from Eyewear Publishing.

Lucy Newlyn is Fellow and Tutor in English of St Edmund Hall. She has published widely on English Romantic Literature. Her collection Ginnel was published by Oxford Poets/Carcanet in 2005, and a second collection is in preparation. Her poems have appeared The Forward Book of Poetry, The Guardian, The Independent, The English Review, The Interpreter’s House, Oxford Poetry, Keystone and Poetry Cornwall. She is literary editor of the Oxford Magazine.

David Shook grew up in Mexico City before studying endangered languages in Oklahoma and poetry at Oxford. He has translated Roberto Bolaño’s Infrarealist manifesto, indigenous Mexican poetry from the Isthmus Zapotec, and oral poetry by the Burundian Batwa. He served as Translator in Residence at Britain’s Poetry Parnassus at The Southbank, in 2012. His first collection is Our Obsidian Tongues, recently launched by Eyewear Press.
