& The Poet's House
Wonderful launch of the Oxford Poets/ Carcanet Anthology 2013 at the Albion Beatnik Bookstore – absolutely packed and terrific readings from David Attwooll, Leonie Rushforth and Karen McCarthy Woolf – plus David’s street band, Horns of Plenty, who played us in and set the atmosphere.
First off I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you
do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your
mind before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my
mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing
but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Many thanks!
